Welcome to InterLync

Robotics, 3D Printing & AI Learning Hub

The UK’s only weekend hub for young innovators

About Us

Non-profit learning hub bringing hands-on robotics, AI and making to young minds.

InterLync students building a robot

We empower young creators to learn, build and shape the future.

InterLync is a not-for-profit youth hub dedicated to robotics, 3D Printing and AI learning accessible, social and fun.

Education with purpose

Our programmes move beyond theory: students design, build and iterate real projects learning engineering thinking, coding and teamwork through doing.

Mentorship-led learning

University lecturers, PHD students and volunteer mentors guide small groups, providing practical skills, encouragement and real-world perspective.

Affordable & inclusive

As a community-focused non-profit, we keep costs low and aim to make places available to young people from all backgrounds.

We run structured weekend sessions, workshops and special project months each designed to grow confidence, practical skills and creativity.

Hands-on robotics & electronics

From Arduino basics to sensor-driven robots, students learn circuits, controllers and mechanical design through step-by-step projects and team challenges.

3D printing

Students design and print parts, learn to iterate quickly and turn ideas into physical prototypes Bambu lab H2D 3D printer and supervised workflows.

AI & creative computing

We introduce practical AI awareness — how to use modern AI tools safely, ethically and effectively, and how they support young learners’ creative projects.

InterLync exists to build a local culture of making and innovation - where young people meet mentors, build confidence and showcase their work to the community.

Student opportunities

We create paid part-time roles and volunteering opportunities for university students to mentor, teach and manage projects - developing leadership and teaching experience.

Partnerships & outreach

We work with local schools, councils and sponsors to run in-school demos, community showcases and competitions that celebrate young creators.

Long-term impact

By teaching practical STEM skills, encouraging creativity and reducing barriers to access, InterLync helps young people build pathways into further study and tech careers.
